Anyone ever joined the ADF and gotten the 10 free trees?

Or has anyone ever ordered trees from here?

You pay $10 to join and they send you 10 free trees. It does say that the "trees" will be 6-12". LOL!!!

We are desperate for foilage around here. Just wondering if anyone has ever done this before?

I have...the trees are truly 6-12 inches. More like seedlings than trees. But they are all thriving. Got mine last year and they took nicely. It will take a while for them to grow...I was told in about 5 years they will really take off.

My grandfather did this many, many years ago...sending away by mail for some spruce trees. My mom said they were about the same size as the ones I got. He bought 6 and 2 survived. Over the years, my mom and her brothers and sisters were photographed next to the trees. After about 10 years the trees dwarfed them, by 15 years the trees were almost 18 feet tall.

So give it a try...it's a good cause and you may actually end up with a nice grove of trees!

Yep DH usually does it every year and the trees are 6-12" REALLY! I made him stop this year though because we have no room left. Our 1st. tree was a purple leaf plum or flowering crab or something, can you tell I just like to look at them and smell them! Anyhow that was 7 years ago and it is I don't know maybe 15-20' tall now and absolutely beautiful. Smells good too!
