Has anyone done the Arabian Knights or the Pirate Dinner Shows that are on International Drive (or both). I was looking at them yesterday and I think DD5 would more than likely enjoy either, but curious to hear some feedback from those who have actually experienced either of them.

Thanks.

I was have gone to the arabian Nights show and my wife and I thought it was amazing. I have lived on a ranch so I am around horses alot so it wasnt just the fact that you had animals performing it was the talent of all the people involved and it had a storyline to the whole night we enjoyed it and are wanting to go back to it again when we head to the world again.

I did a poll sometime back as to what people enjoyed and would go see again I heard the pirate show wasnt the greatest but take a look here...

We did the Arabian Nights show a few years ago (we love horses) and the show was INCREDIBLE- we really enjoyed it. The food was so-so, but I think that's the norm at these shows. But we loved the show and the talented riders- if you love horses, you will love it- there are all different kinds. And, at the end when the show is over, they let many of the horses just run in the arena having fun on their won (at least they did the night we went)- very cool, (Have not been to the Pirates show.)

Thanks guys. We aren't horse people, but DD5 loves animals and we pass a little horse farm on the way home from school everyday and I always have to slow down so she can see them all. I'm adding this to my list of considerations for some different things to do in Orlando since we are staying off property in February.

I did Arabian Nights last Saturday. The show was awesome, the food ok. If you get the chance to go you will enjoy it.

We went a few years ago and really enjoyed the show, like others have said the food is okay...not great but not horrible either.

OK, I have to know. What is on the menu. Seems the food is the only drawback!! What can I expect to be served?

we did the pirate show. I don't recommend it. I won't go back.

Loved Arabian Nights, we did the Pirate Show last year and will NEVER do it again. The food was god AWFUL and the show it self sucked. The only cool part was the pre-show for those who shelled out the extra $ for VIP tix, the gypsy lady with the giant snake was great, DH & DBIL  her! HTH

We received Pirate dinner show tickets as a gift from my in-laws. I wouldn't go again if it were free again! Like someone already mentioned, the show sucked, the acting was over the top awful and the food was barely edible. We brought our then 4 year old son who loves pirates and he hated it too.

Honestly, I don't know how they stay in business. :confused3

We've been to both and your daughter would probably like the Arabian Nights better. Wasn't impressed with the Pirates.
Our dinner consisted of chicken breast, potato and other veg but really can't remember. It was ok.

When we had gone I had prime rib potatoes gravy veggies and dessert which I thought was all very good. I found the menu items online which consist of -quote-

"three course meal that includes salad, rolls and butter, the choice of New York strip steak, grilled chicken breast, certified Black Angus chopped steak with gravy, pasta primavera or chicken tenders, as well as a specialty dessert"

We have done most all the dinner shows in the area....

Pirates Dinner Adventure
Arabian Knights
Midevial Times
Capones
and more

We liked the Pirate Adventure and had no problem with the food.

We have been to Arabian Knights, once with the kids for the big New Years Eve bash, and once on our own(free tickets).I don't prefer the arena type seating there(just like Midevial Times). I love horses but really think the show is not all that great. No problems with the food except that there is not enough of it and it seems that they have trouble keeping drinks filled.

My favorite is Capones but don't reccomend this for young ones.

We really enjoyed the Pirate Adventure. There was plenty of food, as part of the pre show, then dinner, then the snacks after the show..... we couldn't eat another bite!
