AR 17? What happened to the speed bump?

I have been watching Amazing Race and the last episode there should have been a speed bump or something for the couple that were not eliminated the previous episode. Does anyone know why they didn't get any penelty?

According to someone on the AR 17 thread, there are rumors that there was a problem with the music challenge. Evidently, Team Tats had the pieces in the correct order, but the judge ruled it wrong, so hence, no speed bump.

Someone else commented that Phil made no mention of a speed bump when they got to the mat, only that it was a non-elimination leg.

In any case, CBS screwed up by not telling us what happened.

We were just watching this when I saw the thread. I found this:

Says there were production issues in the previous leg and that caused some issues, but that it was already a preplanned nonelimination leg. So there was no speed bump since there had already been some time issues, and it had nothing to do with the music challenge. No idea if this is a reliable source though. But the music theory is all around and seems to make sense-- that would be a "production issue"!

We noticed the same thing. I went and watched the end of the last episode. Phil didn't mention it at all. It just figures!
