Anyone have any accessibility info on Aquatica?
I have tried to email for advice on visiting with a wheelchair user but no replies and the website has very little info on anything :confused3
Any ideas if they will have beach wheelchairs, I can only find standard wheelchairs to hire?
Are any of the slides accessible for wheelchair users?
Is there anything my son will be able to do there?

Since it is not open yet, I would not expect much detailed information to be available. However I just got off the phone with someone who works there and was in the park yesterday. It opens to the public on March 1.

He said there are sand wheelchairs available. However, most areas have paved paths and ramps. Several of the areas actually have zero entry so a chair can go into the water.

The larger slides, of course, would generally not be accessible due to their heights.

And you don't indicate how old or how large your son is, or what mobility he might have outside of a wheelchair, so it would be difficult to answer your last question.
