Thanks

For adults I'd choose Wet'n Wild for its better range of rides. Aquatica headline ride Dolphin Plunge is a real dead-loss. However, for kids the playground "Walkabout Waters" at Aquatica is quite awesome and full of fun things/games.

I didn't think the Aquatica theme and music did a whole lot (unless you like singing Men at Work - Down Under), both parks have a lot of concrete.

We did both this month and also added a day at Typhoon Lagoon. We already had the full 5 park, 14 day Universal tickets and so had to buy one day Disney TL entry, it was still worth it though. Out of all the Orlando water parks, for us TL rules.

I've yet to make it out to Aquatica, but have seen a lot of pictures and know what kind of slides they have as well as how themed the park is.I've been to both Disney parks and Wet n Wild and as far as theming either Disney park beats out Wet n Wild or Aquatica and Aquatica beats out Wet n Wild which is very plain and lacking trees. However Wet n Wild in my opinion has probably the best collection of slides out of all the parks especially multi person slides, they also have a lake where you can knee-ski,probably my favorite thing at any of the parks. Both Disney parks have a good collection of slides and their wave pools are better than at the other parks.I think I prefer Typhoon over Blizzard a little bit due to the parks layout where at Blizzard you have to continuously go up the same stairs to get up the mountain or wait in a long line for the chair lift, also at Typhoon even on the sunniest day you'll never burn with the amount of trees they have at the park, but Blizzard has better slides overall. So basically I don't have a "REAL" favorite there's things I like at all of them and things I don't like.Aquatica looks nice but it looks like they could use some more trees and slides, but it just opened up so that's OK.

how much was the TL entry?

4 adults came to 166 dollars inc taxes, equated to 86.95ukp including commission.

It was worth it, TL is perfect on a hot day. Reasonable shade and as soon as you feel you're frying go and cool off in the giant waves.

Cheers
