Aquatica Online Tickets?

I just booked Aquatica tickets online, found it very confusing! It didn't seem to have any option of booking single day tickets for a specific date. I think I read somewhere you don't have to book a specific date and all pre-booked tickets are good for a year from date of purchase? And that those with the pre-booked tickets are given entry priority over those buying tickets at turnstiles?

Can anyone help me out and un-confuse me! Many thanks in advance. Xxx

u got it

if you buy on line the ticket is not date specific, but with an advance buy ticket you can get in an hour b4 the windows open......(or, buying on line in advance does NOT assure you will get in..)

And currently....you want to be there no later that 9am.......or after 4 pm

Thanks! My tickets arrived today, apart from Seaworld seems to have sent me 6 tickets rather than just the 3 I ordered. They arrived in 2 seperate envelopes. I think I've only been charged once though and that they accidentally duplicated the order...

Maybe I read it wrong, but I thought the site said the one hour early admission is only good on the weekends and only until September. :confused3

It says nothing about it only being an hour early on the weekends, on the Aquatica website. Just says 'enjoy an "Hour-Early Exclusive" daily now through the end of Summer'. To me daily means everyday but I do think it will end in September yes.

However I'm going on August 23rd so I'll be there for the early hours period! I'm staying at the Seaworld Renaissance anyways so I'll just roll out of bed and cross the road. :thumbsup2

Insider Tips

  • With multi-park tickets you can visit as much as you want, when you want during your vacation (tickets expire 14 days after first use) - DAY or NIGHT
  • Purchase tickets in advance to receive early access to Aquatica starting at 8:00 am or come late and play late. Visit after 4:00 pm to enjoy cooler weather and faster ride access.

Keep in mind it's the first Summer and they are getting crowds over and above their wildest expecatations, so I think they are very much making up as they go along.

That said, the original scedule had "Summer" hours lasting only until August 17; on the 18th, the 9:00 am open was to shift back to a 10:00 am open and the park was to close at 7:00 rather than 8:00 (then, on September 2, the close time was to go from 7:00 back to 6:00).

So far this Summer, they've added the "early admission" hour every morning, and kept the park open until 10:00 every night. So while there's a chance things will change on August 18, there's also a chance they won't. I don't know that even Sea World knows for sure at this point.

Okay I am not losing it.....:lmao:
What I read was correct just the wrong website. It was the AAA website that I found that info on.

This is what it says.....
"On Saturdays and Sundays -- beginning April 12, 2008 and lasting through the summer -- guests who purchase their Aquatica tickets in advance will be able to enter and enjoy the park a full hour earlier than the standard opening time. Standard opening times will vary between 9 and 10 am depending on the date. Please check the Website or call the park in advance to verify the operating schedule. The special offer for early admission is not applicable on weekdays (Monday-Friday)".

When the early in started it was just Sat Sun

it soon changed to every day but the AQ site said that in one place and Sat/Sun in another. But visitors on the weekdays soon started passing the word. The conflict on the AQ site is now resolved BUT visitors are saying that the gates have opened b4 8 and sometimes the regular windows appear to be open too.

On one hand AQ seems to b trying to keep folks happy when they arrive early. On the other hand passholders arriving at 10 to find the park closed due to capacity ain't thrilled.

You can please some of.....
