Aquatica info...thought I'd share

Woohoo! Great news, thanks for posting the link! :thumbsup2

Means we'll be able to go as planned once we arrive on April 12th :)

I bought the 2 year platinum passport this year. Will I be able to get into Aquatica too?

Thanks for keeping us up-to-date!!! Sorry for my ignorance but what is 'soft' opening?? Does that mean that the park will be open but perhaps some of the rides wont be operational? We'll be there between 5-15 March and was hoping to go!!

I haven't seen where that has been addressed yet but I would definately think you would...at least...get a discounted ticket price.

A soft opening is when a new attraction is open under a "test" environment. They will run the new rides/shows with a less than normal staff. The park should be open during your stay but you will want to check ahead of time to make sure. A soft opening also means reduced park hours.

It depends on exactly when you bought it. I think any time from January 1st onwards, Aquatica was automatically included in the Platinum passports.

Unfortunately we bought ours in October and so don't have it, though we did get an e-mail just before Christmas saying we could add Aquatica to our passport for an extra $50 (or something like that, can't remember the exact cost). It directed us to a link on the passport members bit of the SeaWorld website if we wanted to pay the extra. We probably won't as I can't see us going more than once this year, so it'll be cheaper just to get a one day ticket.
