Aquatica - Are a 3 and 5 year old too young?

Hi,
I am wondering if anyone has any idea if it is worth it to take my just turned 3 and 5 year old daughters to Aquatica. I want to decide before we buy the Sea World tickets, so I can buy the combo tickets if we do want to go. I am thinking that they may be too young for it to really get our money's worth (we also have an 8 month old daughter, but we can't worry about her being too little!). I find these boards SO helpful in planning our April trip. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much,

The website seems to indicate that there are 3 or 4 areas in the park just devoted to children and there are two main wave pools as well.
Sorry I can't be more of a help, I'm not going until August!

I guess you just need to keep reading reviews to see if there is enough for them to enjoy. One I did see said for now, as the shrubbery was new, there is very little shade. That would concern me with an 8 mo old.

Also I saw this in an article "As a safety precaution, Aquatica insists that people shorter than 48 inches wear a life vest in all water areas." so you kids need to be prepared to wear them all the time.

Our 4yr old loved it.He asks every day now when are we going back.

There are 2 areas just for kids,one of which has around 6 slides of differing lengths that are very easy to get up to and ride a lot.Even a small 2 rider tube.

If your 5yr old is over 40" tall she could even ride in one of the regular 4 person raft.

Life vests for sure in the faster flowing river,but they will love it I'll bet.

Mine liked the wave pool too.

Not much shade as said,but by going in April you're not quite at the hottest time yet

Plenty to do for kids.We'll be going when we're in Orlando from now on.

we will be going at the end of May with DS4 and DS9mths - Is it worth us paying for a cabana - would that give us shade for the children (baby especially)???
