we've sat right against the aquarium tank twice - it's nice, but you're really too close - we've also sat one tier up and center, and found the panorama view really much better from those seats

I prefer not to sit on the first level. You get a panaramic view of more of the tank further up.

I completely agree. We sat almost all the way back (the table right in front of the last row of booths) and we had a fantastic view. Not only watched the fish, but the group of divers that were swimming through.
