Aqua Duck breaks down a lot?

We were on the Fantasy in August and didn't get to ride once (except for the time we got stuck on it and had to be helped out!). During sea days the winds were too high and then it was broken for all of our Castaway day (which is when we got stuck on it).

It's only been shut down twice in the three cruises I've taken. Once because of high winds, which was the same day we couldn't dock at Castaway, and once because a kid got stuck, 20 minutes later it was up and running again. My son and I ride it at least a dozen times every night after dinner, rarely more than a 10 minute wait between runs.

Last time we cruised, the 3rd clear pipe section came loose where the slide is over the edge of the ship and a couple of people took a long drop into the Gulf. Somehow they stayed on the tube and the ship swung around and picked them up. Pretty wild. I think they got a voucher for free massages at the spa.

I am calling shananigans on this!

How does single rider vs double vs WINDS change anything?

Last month on the sea days it was 2 riders only because of the winds.

It's NOT the weight - the 2 kids that got on before me total combined weight = maybe 75 lbs. They rode. Me: 250+ and alone = didn't get to ride (I didn't notice the sign at the bottom of the stairs)

By having 2 people on the raft the front edge of the raft will not fly up (as easily) and therefore stay in the tube (in that short section that is open)

Yep, you're going to survive a 100+ foot drop into the ocean AND stay on the raft!!! Might as well be landing on concrete.
