I plan doing at least 2 trips annually of at least 5-6 nights and maybe squeeze in a third trip.

Just me and my 7 yr old.

:) We have found that if you plan on going to the parks at least 10 days or more in a year, then the AP is definitely worth it especially with the DVC member discount. Also, you are eligible to purchase the DDE card which entitles you to a 20% discount on meals + beverages (including alcoholic) at participating WDW restaurants.

Agree, if you are going 5 to 6 nights twice a year, it is good to have if you are going to the parks a lot during those times. It has that dining card advantage (which I prefer over the dining plan), 10% of at the big store in Downtown Disney, access to the sometimes AP special areas in the parks (sometimes for parades, sometimes just pavilions for juice and crafts), and, if you golf like I do, 30% off regular golfing rates that you can use for early morning times.

We love our ap's. We usually get 3 trips out of them, I have no idea how many days worth of use we get, but plan to renew each year.

Defintely do it. The side benefits are worth it alone. At least get an AP for you so you have one in the family. That will get you all the perks.

We'll plan one trip in June 08 and one in June 09, and working the reservations so we get both trips within one year.

Besides saving you money we feel the best thing about AP's that if you want to go to the parks for just a few hours before they get crowded and leave you don't feel like you've wasted $$$. :thumbsup2

Yes, I LOVE passes for this reason.

I also like to park hop. If one park is too packed, then we can head to another (normally EPCOT)
