How many rooms can you reserve with one AP?

Does it have to be an adult AP or can it be a child?

You can reserve up to three rooms under one AP. I would call Disney on which it has to be but I would assume that it must be an Adult AP, since you have to be 18 or over to reserve a room.

Thanks Ratpack...I have friends traveling and I wasn't sure how many rooms...

ZW - I have seen a post somewhere on these boards which said that a child's AP could be used for AP discounts on rooms. Since you only have to prove you have the AP upon check-in and not at the time of room reservation. I cannot remember where I saw the post but I do remember taking note of it.

You can call and ask. We did that in 2001, and it was a registered guest in the room that had the AP- my Darling Disneynut Daughter. When we checked in, we went through all the passes (lots of part PHP) to get to hers, and there was no problem with it being a child's AP. The CM laughed and said, "Guess you don't need passes for the rest of the party!"

We used a Childs AP to make reservations for when we stayed at the Poly last year and had no problems. In fact, they never even asked to see the pass. When making the reservation, my wife asked if it was okay to do make the reservation under the Childs Pass and the CM said it was done all the time. We plan to do it again next year when we go back.
