How crowded are the parks in April? We always go in Jan, Feb, or Oct but have never been in April. We are wanting to go to the Flower and Garden Festival. We have season passes so we will be going to all the parks, does any one have any thought on this time of year?

I would say it depends on the year, and when Easter falls. Are you talking this year? Because Easter is late March this year, a lot of spring breaks are on the early side (most spring breaks fall the week prior or the week after Easter). I'm heading there on the 17th and have high hopes for smaller crowds! Normally, the weeks around Easter are packed!!

The northeast is out for vacation the 17th - 23rd and it's crowded. If you don't have to do all the rides then it's ok. For first timers, I'd say go during a slower time. The week before the 17th might not be as bad. Check out the posts here and the DVC community board and there's a good size list growing. We also go the end of August, Oct, and the beginning of Dec. when it's not crowded, but we wanted to check out the flower and garden show also.

My guess (hope) is that it will be busier than usual at the end of April not not as busy as president's week.
