Hi

Can anyone give me a rough idea what the weather will be like the last 2 weeks of April.

DH is saying he wants to bring a pair of jeans and a ski/shell type jacket for those cooler evenings... i'm insisting that it better not be cold enough for a jacket in the evenings!!:rotfl2: or someone is going to get a hard time from me!!!:rotfl:

That said I do prefer it hotter than cooler, but DH doesnt take the heat to well and I tend to wear a cardi/jacket on our summer evenings (when we have them!)

Thanks

It's suprising, but I'm going with your DH!

We went last April (never been at that time of year before) and was very suprised most evenings that it did cool considerably.

We went out one evening early on in our trip to the MK and it was that cold there was a mass scramble for jumpers and jackets. Disney couldn't keep up with re-stocking the shelves!! I was amazed!!

You'd get away with a pair of linen pants though, I don't think jeans would be needed. We just had our jumpers and shorts on.

You won't need a jacket as such, but you will need something to cover your arms in the evenings as it does feel a lot cooler once the sun goes down.

We went last April too.

It was wierd!!! One day we were sweltering in the 90s 2 days later it was down to the 60s, mostly it was in the high 70s all day - but it did dip in the evenings to high 60s/low 70s some days, but not others - not very helpful I know - But at least it was mainly SUNNY! We had one day in 10 with an hour's drizzle.
We didn't take coats, or jumpers, just a light weight hooded top, and topped it with a cheap bought poncho for the drizzle day (and for the water rides!)

We normally go late in April and the weather is usually perfect for us....warm and sunny (even sunny enough for the waterparks0
Not too hot or humid.....
Last year was unusual in our experience as we had a few quite cold days followed by high 20's........it caught us off guard a bit....
We normally take summer type clothes with maybe a couple of light tops/jackets just in case (there may be rain!!!!!!) but mostly if it gets colder we will use that day to go shopping and buy anything new that we may have forgotten (although with the poorer exchange rate this year this may be cut back a bit)

I am waffling now.......but generally late april has the nicest temperatures for us wimpy brits.......
