April Vaca WL, Contemporary,or Poly

My family is going to Disney during April vaca, were trying to decide whether to stay at the WL,Contemporary, or Poly, we have stayed at the poly before an loved it but didnt gett he full experience because i got fod poisoning so we'd like to stay an try again,but we also want to try a new resort and havnt stayed at the other 2, which would you prefer?why?

We have stayed at both WL and the Poly so I can really only comment on those two - we stayed at the WL last June and it was very nice and not a bad choice at all, but..... for us the Poly IS Disney - from the smells when we first arrive, to the laid back feel around the grounds, the amazing cast members, easy access to transportation, and just the overall feel of WOW while we are there - so pretty obvious I would say the Poly

I stayed at the WL and it was great. Probably my favorite resort. From the lobby, to the rooms, the grounds, just everything.

The Poly and Cont. are awsome too. (haven't stayed in them, but I've visited them many times)

Since the Poly and Cont. will be going through renovations, I'd choose WL. Besides, the WL is the cheapest deluxe too (along w/ AKL).

I was trying to decide between the BC, Poly, and WL. I ended up with the WL because for less money it had great reviews on many different sites. BC and Poly although had plenty of great reviews, I found many neg. ones too. I think with the high prices ANYTHING wrong is felt!! Also, WL had so many neat activities! We are staying for 9 nights May 25-June 3rd w/ dining (standard room) and a 10 day hopper for $4200. I think that is great deal. Good luck deciding, but you really can't go wrong!

Of the three you have listed, and we've stayed at all three multiple times, I would choose the POLY.

I have stayed at the WL and the Contemporary. DD and I are going back in January and we are staying at the WL again. We just love this resort. It has such a homey feel to it.

Don't know exactly when your "April vacation" is, but April is very hectic. I'd recommend a monorail resort for the convenience and also the larger rooms but we also love the WL too.

I didn't see that you mentioned what part of Contemporary you are looking at, but if you're going during spring break, I would vote for the Poly.

We did the CR for spring break this year and it was HORRIBLY busy. So many people coming and going! We had a tower room above Chef Mickey's and it was SO noisy at 7 am!

I love the WL (although we've only visited there, not stayed) but during spring break I would factor in the convenience of the monorail!
