Hi Everyone After spendings weeks reading this board I finally have a question of my own. What do you think is a better month to cruise April or May? I have noticed May's prices are a little less than April. Why is that? Thanks for you help. You all seem to know so much and I am a first time cruiser who is a little confused.

It all depends on the weather, we have had great smooth waters in April and cruise, rain and heavy waves.

April is peak due to Spring break and Easter holidays. Kids are in school during May. That's the price difference

:bounce: WELCOME TO THE DIS :bounce:

We are cruisin April 29th 2006 - this is a cheap week too as it doesn't coincide with vacations. I find late May to be very hot - mid May I still got sun blisters in St. Maarten, but I am blond and totally fair, and well, an idiot when it comes to the Golden Eagle and the like excursions that leave at 8 am and serve Rum Punch and Beer for 4+ hours.

Either months is great - if you have choices, pick on price.
