Can anyone advise what the weather and crowd levels are like at the end of April/beginning of May please?

We usually go around the first two weeks in May crowd levels are usually lower, and never had any issues. Plus we like the flower and garden festival during that time.

Il be there for the last week of April and the First week of May :-) can't wait

We usually go early to mid May. Crowds are lower and weather is warm to hot. Usually mid 80s to low 90s during the days but we did get a hot one a few years ago.

We have our accommodation booked but as its just me and my boyfriend we're not doing a Dining Plan. We're staying at POFQ. I'm going to start looking at reservations for 'sit-down' meals for a couple of evenings in the next few weeks.

I believe you have to wait until 180 days before your hotel reservations to actually make make dinner reservations but I think it's a good idea to see what resturants are fuilling up fast.

It's more looking up where is good to go too- I haven't been since I was a kid so it's all new to me!!

That's when we plan to go too.
When I went, back in 2004 and 2005, it was last week of may. It wasn't too crowded, but it was way too hot. That's why I want to go a bit earlier this time.

New to me too!!! We are planning to go the same time. Some of the resturants we plan on going to are
Chef Mickey
Mama Rosa
Sci Fi Dine-In Theater
Princess Dinner in Norway
Garden Grill with Chip & Dale
Be Our Guest
O'Hana Characater Breakfast
Boma
Chrystal Palace
T-Rex
Rose and Crown
We have two small children so you can see alot of what we are planning is character meals. But there are many good resturants to chose from

we usually go may 1-10. the crowds aren't bad, and the weather is just about perfect (little to no rain).
in order to use our expiring APs, we went april 22-may 1 this year. we had the same beautiful weather and low crowds:woohoo:.
funny tho, it apparently rained almost the entire time after we left - the time we would nnormally be there.

so just check to see when we are going, and book accordingly ;)

We arrive at lunchtime on 23rd April. We chose that time as it was between public/school holidays (so was cheaper!) and before it gets too hot.

My last visit was 1997 when I was coming up for 14 years old! Like I said, all these years later everything has changed so much it's like it's my first time - which adds to the excitement. My DBf of 7yrs has never been to anywhere 'Disney' which adds to the anticipation- We wanted to go 'just us' so we could experience it as carefree adults before we contemplate starting a family.

I'm not too picky about where I eat as long as I can get something 'green' - more that a couple of 'junk' meals a week makes me sick- I guess because I'm not used to it. We also tend to eat our evening meals later - like 8pm ish, so I guess I'd better start researching restaurant service hours too! So many lists to make

We've been the first week of May several times and found that its a great time to go. The crowd levels are low and it's not too hot yet.
