We were up early today and went and got some breakfast from the Beach Club Market Place, we had croissants and OJ and walked over to enter Epcot through International Gateway. We were meeting at guest relations today for our Segway Tour, Alan was very excited.
It starts off with some training in the room at Innoventions, I was very scared to begin with, but soon got the hang of it. We went around cones, up and down a ramp, and round in circles. Next up we were off around Epcot, zooming along in and out of all of the countries, whilst doing this the CM who took the tour was telling us interesting facts about the countries and took pictures of us on our segways. When the tour ended World Showcase was open to the public so there were a few more obstacles on the course. We really enjoyed this tour and would recommend it to all. You get a lovely limited edition segway pin at the end of the tour as well.
We headed to Living with the Land and Soarin over California was previewing and we were luckily enough to get in. The queuing area is huge for this, I would hate to have to queue for this without fass pass. We managed to get on the top row of seats and the ride was brilliant, wonderful views.
Alan took a lot of pictures of the toperies from the Garden festival and then I got some Chips in England, sad I know but I really fancied them.
We headed out of Epcot and back to Stormalong Bay for an afternoon swim. We showered and changed and then headed to the friendship boats and caught one over to MGM. DH went on Star Tours whilst I people watched. We were also disappointed to find that there were no more shows of Indiana Jones after 3.45pm, as the park was open until 9 or 10pm this seemed a bit silly.
We had a peak around the shops and I brought a My First Disney Bear, dinner this evening was at Hollywood and Vine as we were doing the Fantasmic Dinner package. This is one of our favourite buffet meals, there is lots of nice food here and I became addicted to Pink Lemonade. We were given our pass for Fantasmic to use later and then we headed back out to the park. We went to the Great Movie Ride and on our row a Cast Member who works at the GMR who had never been on it before was riding and having a Magical Moment. We headed to Oscars and walked through and up to the stadium to settle down to watch Fantasmic. I love this show and we really enjoyed it. Afterwards we joined that long, long walk back to the exit of the park and caught the boat back to the Beach Club.
