hi, just wondering could anyone help me out with any info on how busy the parks are likely to be 29th april-2nd may? i know it is an english and irish bank holiday, but would it still be likely to be still very busy so soon after the easter holidays? was thinking dont want to go when very long queues with small children...thanks!

which days of the week are your dates on?
this site shows that 2 out of 3 zones in France are off on school holidays at that time of year -

and Saturdays and Sundays are always very busy at DLP.

thanks for your reply had been thinking fri-mon, but maybe do 4 days midweek instead, 26-29th. would it normally be very busy then? the irish holidays are still on that week, so was hoping for a few days not too busy, went before first week in oct and was great very little queues!

i havent been at that time myself so hopefully someone who has can help you more. if i had the choice i would go midweek in any case. maybe you could have a look at some trip reports from that time. they are in the sub board at the top of the page. they are indexed by month so you should find some the end of april

Hi

I would definately go midweek cause it will be so much quieter and the weekends sound so stressful. Ive been early march and late may both times mid week and its been so stress -free!! its so nice to walk onto rides, have our pick of where to eat in the village and do things at a leisurely pace.

what age are your little ones?

have now decided to go st.patricks week, instead, 15-20!hopefully the weather wont be too wet!have booked flights, thinking of staying in sequoia lodge this time, stayed in cheyenne in october, liked it but not much difference in price and sequoia nearer and has pool, handier as we will have 5 whole days this time, cant wait...kids are 3,5 and oldest will be 7 on our last day there!!

i think that week, even though it includes st patricks day, will be quieter than the week you were originally looking at in april - plus you have the added bonus of fireworks in the main park on st patricks day !
