I just checked the 'official' site and it would not give the shows (if there are any?) for April 18-20.

It did say that the park is open from 9-7. Does anyone know if there will be any parades? Shows? Etc?

This is a last minute thing and ANY help will be appreciated!! :earsboy:

From the DL home page, click on Calandar, then click on your date (one at a time). That will take you to a page that had parade and show schedules for each park and DTD if available at that time.

When I clicked on the day, it gave 'entertainment' but for parades it said 'not available at this time'.

There currently are no parades running at either park except for the Electrcal Parade at DCA on weekends. Parades won't return until May 5. There are a couple of character cavalcades that go up Main street towards the castle, do a little show, then head back down to the other end.

:( That's not a good thing! I enjoy the parades...

What about crowds? Does anyone know if they will be busy?

I am looking for the same answers. We are arriving on the 19th and leaving on the 23. Looks like the only nights for electric light parade is Friday. Also, according to the weather reports, it may be 64 or so (I was hoping for 70ish). :rotfl: :Pinkbounc :cheer2:

Right now they have character celebrations - where the character process down Main Street to the area in front of the castle & dance. I've seen the Princess one & have a link with pics up at one of the stuck threads at the top. There is also a Mickey one, and there MIGHT be a Mary Poppins one, but not sure.

Haven't seen a Mary Poppins one, just the Mickey one and the Princesses.

Another thing...from someone who actually LIVES near DL....what is the weather like? Are we talking shorts or possibly pants?

I looked at the weather thingy online and it says it should be warm....low 70's (next week) but when talking to the hotel clerk she told me it was kind of cool....I don't want to pack too much if it won't be needed!

I was there yesterday afternoon, and it was definitely chilly. I was glad to have a jacket on. However, there were families swimming in the Neverland pool. I would say to plan on dressing in layers. Earlier this week, it was in the high 70's - beautiful weather, so it's still changing from day to day.
