Does anyone have any good pranks to play on my 7yo DD and 9yo DS? I'm so bad at thinking of funny stuff to do...usually I forget about it but I think they would get a kick out of it if I remembered and did something funny. Any ideas?

No ideas, but thanks for reminding me!!! I gotta start thinking now!:rotfl:

short sheet the bed, plastic bags in there pillow cases, koolade in the shower head (funny and totally harmless), sew (or ducktape) pants legs shut or shirt sleves.

My best April Fool's Day prank was switching the underwear of my two oldest DD's. It was a few years ago and I think my then 5 year old was in on it and we put her underwear into the drawer of my then 8 year old. They both wear the same brand/colors so only the sizing was different. I walked past her room the next day and I could see her wiggling around trying to get more comfortable. I didn't let her go to school like that, but it was funny for a few minutes.

The one who was in on it wants to do it again this year. She's just not getting that it will most likely be obvious to her sister. To make it even more obvious she wants to switch the 10 year old's underwear with the 4 year olds:confused3.

If your kids take there lunch pack it in suitcase or a briefcase
We did Dinner for breakfast
Try to convince the kids it parents day at school and the kids get to do mom and dads jobs. (my kids knew better)

If they eat cereal, pour the cereal and milk the night before, stick a spoon in it, and freeze it overnight :thumbsup2

Ooooohhh...these are good! I'm gonna go freeze some cereal right now! I'd like to do the underwear thing but I think my son would notice the princess underwear is not his! Or maybe not!

I took the filling out of oreos and then filled them with white toothpaste. Kids will be shocked tomorrow when they eat their cookies.

Last year I toasted pound cake and then frosted it with yellow dyed frosting. Put the pieces together and had fake grilled cheese.

I love it! Wish I had some oreos! Maybe I'll go get some while they're at school so they can have a yummy after school snack!

its too late for this, but last year I switched all my kids covers when they were sleeping, so my elder son had his sisters, she had her twin brother's, and younger son had older son's. they thought it was hysterical! this year I've been a bit distracted so haven't given it much thought. just threw some fake bugs in their shoes so when they put them on they will get a bit of a giggle.

trying to figure out something to do when they are at school.

I would say the biggest joke so far was the fact that we got snow overnight and its still snowing now but too bad, so sad, not even a delay at school! ;)

Just wanted to say also that my kids cracked up at their frozen cereal this morning! They thought I was a comedian!

Then while they were eating their real breakfast the tv was talking about the tornado in central FL and I said to them, "oh yeah...I heard about this. Disney World blew away!" My kids were so sad and were asking if they were going to rebuild it, but I told them no way because it would cost too much money! I had to say "April Fools" fairly quickly though because my DD was on the verge of tears! I would be too if that were true!

I covered the bottom of the computer mouse with a sticky note ;) DS15 was on his hands and knees trying to figure out the problem. The sticky note said "April Fools!"

I think I will put plastic bags in the pillow cases for bed time tonight!

One of my facebook friends just posted what she did to her kids this morning.

She made red jello in cups and put straws in it before it hardened. She gave it to them this morning with breakfast as 'juice'. She said the 3 year old was the funniest one trying to drink the 'juice' thru the straw.

I put gummy spiders in my sons sandwich last year. When he bit into it, there were the spiders.

I forgot all about it. When he came downstairs this morning, first thing he did was open his sandwich to see if there were gummy spiders in there. :rotfl:
