At last, the time has come for us to finally book our next WDW holiday!!!!!!! :hyper:
Villa is (almost) finalised, and hopefully we'll be booking our Virgin flights very very soon.

But what I would like to know is - how busy will it be, and how warm will it be. We're going April 2nd 2005 - this is the weekend after Easter weekend, and we'll be staying for 2 weeks. I assume most if the Easter crowds will have gone?

And the weather - previous trips have been February, October and July x 2, so can I assume it will be warmer than february, which was a bit chilly at night!!!, but not as hot as July or even October?

TIA

Cath:D

PS does anyone know the link of the Website that has the daily weather history thing??

Hi Cath,

We have only been in April -so can't really give a comparison. However, we have found the weather to be very good at that time of year. We saw little rain on either occasion (I think April is one of their driest months) and by and large had hot (very hot on some days) sunny days.

Last year we had one day which was quite cool and very windy - but the rest was fine.

Try this website to see the average temperatures, rainfall etc etc

..we've done Easter twice and March before easter once. weather excellent in April the times we've been - as Julie says, very little rain, and hot, good-UK-summer type weather.

Crowds are less the second week, but we've always gone for the 'early start/escape when it gets busy' approach, which has served us well.

A lovely time to go!:teeth:

Have a look here ...if you check the "History & Almanac" halfway down on left of main page, you can check the actual weather on days in previous years!

Our trips to Florida have all (apart from one NYE trip) been either around Easter or over the October half term.

We found daytime weather similar in March/April to October, but the evenings were noticeably warmer in October. In the spring we usually need to change into long sleeves and trousers in the evenings, in October we can still sit outside in shorts and tee shirts all evening.

Easter crowds are usually very heavy, but should be thinning by the time you get there. :) However, the US Spring Break is very flexible and you may still get crowds due to different states having difeerent dates for their spring break dates.

Thanks everyone for all your info and links!

Going to post on the US boards about when the Spring Break is..!!
