So it's another month closer to the Summer, so how is everyone getting on with their diets ?

Please share how you're getting on, whether it's good, bad or if you're giving yourself a break over Easter. Let's see if we can give each other a little bit more encouragement and motivation as we head towards the better weather (though as I type this, it is snowing outside )

:wizard::wizard: Good Luck this month everyone :wizard::wizard:

For me, my dieting is going OK. January started well, then I stalled over February and March, though I finally lost a pound at my last weigh-in on Friday. I have decided to give up bread for a while to see if that makes any impact on my weight loss, and as there aren't any Zumba classes for two weeks, I have dusted down our treadmill and had a very fast walk on it last night, I hope to do the same again today ::yes::

:wizard: Good luck with this weeks weigh-ins everyone :wizard:

I'm finding it very difficult to eat healthy at the moment with the good old english weather being up the creek and it's all to easy to grab a bit a chocolate with Easter this weekend :sad2: but that said 2 sessions of Football this week and next will help :yay:

Keep it up Mandy before you know it you'll reach your target :thumbsup2

Hi Mandy,

I have got a bit stuck so have taken up running trying not to stress about the scales as apparently you can gain muscle to start with.
I am trying to be good over the easter holidays but I have had a couple of meals out. on the plus size i tried on a couple of dresses in Next today and they fitted i havent had the confidence to wear a dress in years so my body is changing shape even if the scales are not moving :goodvibes

hope everybody has a good week:thumbsup2

Thanks Antony :) Yes the weather plays such a big part when you're dieting. When it's nice we're happy to eat salads, when it's miserable it's a cuppa and a couple of choccy digestives :rolleyes1

:wizard: Good Luck over Easter

:yay: That's great that you're noticing the difference in your clothes and have the confidence to try on dresses, keep up the good work Rach ::yes::

So, is anyone having any Easter Eggs this weekend ? Thankfully I'm not that fussed about them, though I have been know to have the odd MaltEaster over Easter

Hi all

Little bit late but weighed in for the week on Saturday and lost 2lbs, the challenge this week will be to hold it there.

See you all later and good luck

Stephen

:wizard: Good luck tonight Andrea, I hope it isn't as bad as you think

:yay: Yay ! I'm really shocked and chuffed to have lost 2lbs this week :yay: I didn't think that cutting out bread could make such a difference

Anyway, I'm hoping to be good over the weekend, as I'm not that bothered about Easter Eggs, though when I go shopping this morning I will be treating myself to a MaltEaster and I may be naughty and get an Easter Krispy Kreme when I pop to Birmingham later

:wizard: Good luck over the next week everyone, especially over the next few days :wizard:

I haven't been on this thread for such a long time! I am still trying to lose weight, and have lost 1st and then another 2lbs this week, I am going to ww every wednesday night and am finding it ok on the point system.
I am aiming to lose another 2 stone to get to my goal weight, hopefully i'll do it this year but we have so many special birthdays coming up starting with my dd 21st in a couple of weeks, I am going to have to be very careful with my points!
well done Mandy losing 2lbs, I have swapped bread for wraps:cloud9: and it makes a difference!I Don't feel bloated now, white bread is known for that!
well done Stephen on your 2lbs and jjk for sts :thumbsup2

Welll done Stephen and Jeanette good loses :goodvibes

I dont know how i did it but i lost 2lbs this week, so this has really i spired me to keep going and not lose the plot over Easter

I never really join in this thread as I am the worlds worst dieter! :lmao: I have banned the scales for the moment as I get a bit obsessed! However I sneaked on today and am the lowest I have been in years and am a dress size smaller! This is due to four cLasses of Zumba a week and a better diet than previously. I could still do soooo much better on the food front, however am happy with eating as I am and exercise. I am still finding it strange to buy the smaller clothes size as I haven't bought this size since I was at uni, it is a good feeling I must confess. Keep up the good work everyone! :goodvibes

:dance3: Welcome to our dieting thread Verity. I'm so pleased that you've done so well with your diet/exercise. You must be chuffed to bits, I would never have done so well without my zumba class .. now give me a 'zumba hey, zumba ha' :rotfl2::rotfl2:

:yay: Yay ! I'm chuffed to bits that I've lost another pound this week :yay:

It's been a strange couple of weeks. Two weeks ago I was wasn't looking forward to a couple of weeks without any zumba, then I decided to give up bread, and at the same time I started using our very dusty treadmill in the garage (that hasn't been used in the last 5 years and I've been nagging hubby to get rid of). So now I'm pleasantly surprised that I have reached my 'holiday weight' (even though I haven't got one booked) :rotfl: :rotfl:

I'm now considering giving up one of my three zumba classes a week and continuing with the treadmill a couple of times (especially as it's free), well until I lose interest in it ;)

:wizard: Good Luck over the next week everyone :wizard:
