I am still deciding whether to fly or drive. If you are going in April and got airfares how much was yours and what airline? Thanks in advance::MinnieMo

Airfare sales right now only go thru mid march.

Pick 2 or 3 airline sites to watch daily.

You will get to know what a good price is. Because when you see a good price you have to jump to buy it right then.

Some sale prices are only good for a few hours. If you have to stop and think about it you may miss the best price!!!

Not there yet. We leave on April 28th and haven't even bought our tickets yet, though we watch for good fares all of the time. I just bought my tickets 2 days ago for my trip the end of this month (Jan. 30-Feb.6) Out of Wash. DC I paid $156. Last May and July I paid $163 rt for each of those trips. I usually book once the fare drops under $180.

Doesn't it matter where you're flying from and when? I can't seem to get a good price from Houston over March spring break, I'm afraid the flights will sell out if I don't book soon!

Every day, at least 3 times, I've been checking flights from PVD or BDL to MCO (or any other airport in a 90 mile radius) and I can't believe how expensive it is. Can't find anything less than $330. We are coming in on April 16 and leaving on April 24. Granted, it is spring break for some schools, but good grief! All the cheap fares are for mid week travel into/out of Florida.

zebrastripes, that's exactly what I'm running into. I know you can get better rates if you fly out on a Monday, but we don't want to waste our weekend here before we leave. You can also get better rates if you're not picky on the dates, but we're working around a school schedule. I'm not finding low rates and may need to book before they sell out. Bummer!

 exactly what my problem is. There break is from April 5 - 9th and my reservations are for the 3rd so either I take them out of school, which I don't want to do or leave Friday night, or drive, leaving Friday. I am checking everything and want to spend under 180.00 but it is way too expensive, even checking Atlanta and Savannah and of course they are around 180.00 but I would have to rent a car from Atlanta and drive the 7 hours to Orlando.

for $732 total for 4 of us. This is for PVD to MCO. We are leaving 4/18 and returning 4/27. I did not get the times I wanted - I am NOT an early morning person, but this will have to do.

$553 rt from LAX/MCO direct on Song. I booked it back in October.
This is for two of us.

I too had a problem with this leaving 4/17 returning 4/25 I was working with school vacation plus were doing the cruise this time so I really had to have flights at certain times. I was very lucky that Jet Blue is now flying out of Boston I got non stops at really good times for $220.00 including tax. We are taking a limo into Boston and round trip is $160.00 which is good because parking at Logan was going to cost $140.00 plus I don't have to worry about my car being damaged. I'm really happy with the price and our flights are already sold out.

shelby2001 Hey, we are on the same cruise!! Unfortunately, we are about 1 1/2 hours from Logan (on a good day) and limo's would be about $200 per trip.

What are we paying - too much!!! But I didn't want to wait & be shut out. I think ours are over $300 each - there are 5 of us.

We are flying peak times in April - the 2nd through the 17th. Maybe next time I'll try to wait for SWA. I just get so anxious & nervous - I have to work on that!

April 7 - 15 BTV to MCO $216 ( I bought them in June!)

173.00 plus tax SLC to MCO 04-13 - 04-21. I've paid as high as $250.00 and as little as $132.00 in the past. That's Continental mid week departure and return.

We are flying ATA out of Chicago April 25th returning April 30. We got a terrific fare of $155 roundtrip taxes included! That is our personel best. Even the buy one fare get one free we had 2 years ago couldn't compare.

I agree airfare is high this year. Leaving Easter Sunday for 9 days paying $320.00/person out of Buffalo, NY., but the good news its a direct flight leave at 8am and I`m in Orlando at 10:300 am. I quess you get what you pay for.

$148/person- Buffalo to Orlando-Leaving Fri. April 23 and returning Sat May 1. United through Expedia.

I booked our flights from PWM 2 adults 2 children and we paid 232 pp. It was the best around unless I wanted to drive to NY and go JetBlue! They had awesome deals, better than BOS.We leave 4-14 to 4-22.

Been having a terrible time finding flights!

My parents and 2 sisters are going from OMA to Orlando the weekend of May 2nd.

Unfortunantely all the good deals require them to leave on Wednesday and return on Tuesday. Can't figure out if the extra cost for hotel and car are worth the savings...it's difficult!

I had to pay $300 for a flight coming home on the 25th. that is the killer, if I stayed until Monday, I could have saved $100. This is out of Newark (NJ). For one ticket, I paid it (my ladies trip) .......... for the family, 6 of us, I would not have been able to afford it.
