April 8 Magic cruisers??

Woo hoo! We can't wait to experience our first Disney Cruise! We are a family of 5 traveling with two other extended family groups. Anyone out there??? I have one concern...I know I'm an overprotective mom, but I have a newly 15 year old daughter who will be participating in teen activities, and staying in a room with a family friend. I am a little anxious about her being at late evening teen activities, then walking through the ship alone late at night to go to her stateroom. How have other paranoid parents handled similar situations?
