April 30 - May 6, 2005 IS THIS A GOOD TIME?

WE'RE PLANNING OUR FIRST TRIP TO "THE WORLD" FROM SATURDAY, APRIL30 THROUGH FRIDAY, MAY 6, 2005. I'M WORRIED ABOUT A LOT OF GRADS & BAND TRIPS BEING THERE AT THIS TIME. COULD ANYONE THAT HAS BEEN AROUND THIS TIME PLEASE TELL ME ABOUT THE CROWDS? I REALLY WANT THIS TO BE A GREAT FIRST TRIP, SO THAT DH WILL WANT TO RETURN.

It should be good, the last Grad Night is April 30th. I've gone at the beginning of May the past 5 years and it was great!

We went that same week for 4 years in a row. It's a GREAT week to go....Low crowds....Short lines....Excellent weather...
During that week for 4 years we NEVER saw any rain. It rained at night a time or 2, but never during the day.

As far as grad nights go, you probably won't even know they are going on. They have no effect on anything, except maybe MK closing a little early on a Fri or Sat night.

Our favorite time to go...the weather is great, crowds are low to moderate and the International Flower and Garden Show is on at Epcot.

We're also going that same time next year. We'll be at POR April 28th - May 8th.

End of April/beginning of May is my favorite time to go! We've only ever noticed a crowd from grad nite maybe one night out of seven of our trip.

Beginning of May is my favorate time to go. The crowds are low the weather is great and everything looks so beautiful with the Flower and Garden show going on.
I had been going in May for years until our DD entered middle school and it is harder now to take her out of school. We are now going in April (Spring Break)
As soon as we are able to go back in May we definately will!!! You are going to LOVE it at that time.

Luvindiscruiser is correct. I too will be there for the BIG celebration kick off for the 050505 celebration. Going to be a busy time this year, but looking forward to it!! Book those rooms early because they are going fast. Finding a discounted room during this time will be hard to do also.
