It's getting so close I'm having panic attacks! You think I'm not serious? I absolutely am terrified of flying! I have flown alot but almost every time I'm on a plane something happens. Downed with oil leak in Alaska (not at an airport) almost hijacked in 1977. FBI came on board and carried the guy off! Last minute hold on take off because of a crack in the fuselage, severe turbulance and lightening over Orlando, spent 3 hours on the runway called back in and had to sleep on the airport floor in Detroit during a blizzard (we were on our way to Hawaii, once in Memphis called our plane back and took every one off to work on the planes electrical system then wanted to board us after an hour and a half I wouldn't get on board made them change my flight, on my way to see my Dad and got the news that he had passed away while I was in St. Louis airport changing planes and the list goes on! I'm praying for protection for our travels already.
On a lighter note any where for the meet us is fine. Just let me know time nd place.

My neighbor just barely told me about the disboards and the fish extenders this afternoon - only 13 days before the cruise. Can someone tell me more about how to get involved? I know I have to add us to a list somewhere but I am not sure how to get to it. According to my neighbor we bring fun treats for the others doing the fish extenders and hopefully get a few treats in return. But when I just checked ebay, it doesn't look like we could get a fish extender in time. And since I don't sew is there anything else I could use? Any advice would be great. This will be our first Disney Cruise and first time on the disboards.

Oh BTW,,,,, get your fish extenders out as soon as you get to your cabin if you can. Remember I will already be on board and will fill them as soon as you get them up so Jason & Family (Phototech) can fill it again later.

LOL! Yeah I think you are. I am right after DizzylandDeb on the first day. Probably because she knows I'll be onboard by around 12 or heads will roll. LOL! Being back to back she'll probably get on before me (the dog), but I bet I get my fish extender up at exactly 1pm. LOL! I plan on dragging all the gift bags, my door decorations and fish extender in a carry on bag and then handing mine out after our early seating dinner as I won't be going to the shows and that should give her enough time to get all of hers done too.

Disboards Meet up!

Okay folks looks like it's day one (emabrakation day) Thursday at the Skybar!Now for time, I think theirs at least two cabins here with late seating which should be done I would think by 10:15. So, how about say 10 at the Skybar we meet up and chat. I will have a lime green Mickey head with my name MMketeer on it so people can find me since that's the official Disboard color. What does everyone think about the time?

Oh wow I lookey I made it to over 2,000 posts. That only took how many years! LOL!

Jimmy Buffet concert tonight for me and then I have got to start packing!

Jimmy Buffet??? Margeritaville??? I wouldve bought a ticket on the basis of that one song,,,,bet it was fun!!!!

We will pop into the skybar also... I may try and copy your idea and make a lime green Mickey head, or some type of Mickey head....nothing worse than walking up to perfect strangers and saying,,,"hey you fom the Dis?" The UK version "Do you Dibb? " is even worse,,,,,hehehehehe And Im thinking the boat may be quite full

You can go to the Creative thread here on the Disboards and borrow a clip art or better yet ask one of them to create a personalized one for you. That's what I did. Hubby is laughing at me at about this get together thing. He says I'll never make it cause' I always crash on the first night of a cruise- it must be from all the exicitement and adrenilne. But, I hate it when he tells me I can't do something etc., I am just that stubborn that darn it...I will be proving him worng! See ya'll there.

The 3rd pocket down is "Allie's" our oldest DD...she will not be with us on this cruise (in college and busy working at DL) but she wanted us to add her for the next one.
