Mike - you order the water package from room service (or you will often see servers walking around at lunch the first day offering it). The water is Evian and I think it is for 30 bottles but don't quote me.

We prefer to bring large sports bottles and fill them up at the drink station up on deck 9. The water up there is purified and even though we are both bottled water drinkers we love the taste of that water. Before an excursion we fill the bottles with ice, top off with water and we have a nice cool drink for the day.

Mary thanks I told Eileen that the tap water would be safe to drink but It will be her decision if she feels more comfortable drinking the bottled water. When I was in the Navy one of the duties I had was running the evaporators making fresh water from sea water.

friends of ours ordered the water package and if i'm remembering right it was $35.00. that included the mandatory tip. i thought it was quite expenseive but if you want bottled water and don't want to carry it on this would be cheaper than paying per bottle. we've decided to make a stop and pick up a $7.00 case at wall mart. the $28.00 we save will probably be enough to pay my bar bill at the end of the week. no, we don't drink much.

Hello everyone. I just booked my first Disney Cruise leaving April 26th. This will be my 8th cruise but first on Disney. I've been on RCCL and Carnival. I have an 8 year old son and he is so excited he said he could throw up LOL. I'm hoping to chat with some other people before the cruise to get to possibly know some people on board the ship.

BTW I'm Mary and will be sailing with my DH Mark. Joining us will be our good friends Karen (ohiominnie) and her family - DH Mike, DD KT, and DS Nick. We've sailed with them 3 times before and are looking forward to doing this cruise with them.

Hopefully everyone else will jump on and introduce themselves as well.

Welcome to the board Jetanlori. Our son will be 8 by the time of the cruise.

OK, now reality is setting in. I confess - I haven't made any reservations and I still need to renew our expired passports. For our last 3 nite cruise, in May, I practically knew what we'd be doing every minute of every day. I read all the forums and asked a lot of questions. This cruise always seemed so far away (I've got plenty of time), but now its right up on us.

Guess I better get busy. I'm getting anxious now.

Thanks for the well wishes everyone. Since it's only 12 weeks away I'm trying to start my diet so I can look great and enjoy myself. We decided to stay at a nearby hotel after the ship docks on May 3rd. All the flights out of FLA would have us waiting around until 4pm and then get into Boston at 11pm which makes for a very long day or travel. I got a great deal at a hotel near the airport so it will be nice to have 1 day to relax at the pool before we go home. Anyone else flying in a day early or a staying a day later?

We're flying in a day early and staying at the port area. After the cruise we're staying Saturday, Sunday and Monday at our Boardwalk home and then flying home early Tuesday morning.
