Hi everyone! Beautiful Saturday morning here. A little cool but really good sleeping weather.

Mike it was nice to see you stop in chat last night. Wish I could have lasted longer but I was really tired and an hour was my limit.

House cleaning is on the agenda for today. What fun! Wish I was at WDW with the Ohio clan.

we were supprise to see you in chat last night too Mary we do not know what the problem is it gets to be about 10pm and we start to have internet problems one computer runs fine when we run more tham that we can not connect to any sites we have decided to use Avis for our car rental and use the shuttle to drop off and pick up at the port hope to make those reservations today the next big decission is air travel

I'm in cruise chat most Friday nights at least for the first 1/2 hour or so. Since Mary and Karen the regular chat hosts are leaving on the Med Repo today I've been staying longer to keep an eye on the room and help answer questions. I always like when there are new cruisers we can help with questions.

yay...50 weeks...next week, it will start with a 4. Darn, I was determined to stop by the cruise chat last night...I remembered 15 min. before it started, but then got sidetracked and forgot!

I am off to the grocery store in a bit. I hate grocery shopping!

Happy Mother's Day to all the mom's here! My kids surprised me this morning by letting me sleep in. We had planned on going to breakfast but by the time I finally rolled out of bed, it was time for lunch! I got not only one, but TWO beautiful bouquets of flowers. I always say flowers are such a waste, but it's still nice to get them every now and then One mixed bouquet and one with two dozen roses!! I also got a gift pack of my favorite perfume (Lovely) and body lotion. We went out to lunch at a new Greek restaurant that we've been wanting to try and that we ended up loving. The portions were so huge though, I had to bring most of it home!

Good morning everyone - happy Monday! Today is paying bills and then back to work. Should be a beautiful day here in Chicagoland with highs up near 85. Supposed to then get cooler for the rest of the week.

Good morning! ugh! My day did NOT start off well!! First, I was woken up before my alarm by my cat vomiting all over my bedside table, my glasses, etc. and then on the floor! Thankfully I noticed it on my glasses before I put them on! Blech! I washed them off, then cleaned off the mess. I went to the bathroom, to find that a whole lot of cat food was dumped into the toilet. Great! It was already a bit clogged from DD trying to clean the catbox the other day and dumping ALL the cat litter down the toilet. She meant well, but ARGH!!!! Anyway, I called DH since he's the only one that could have done it, and I guess the catfood in the bowl got moldy and he dumped it into the toilet. Again, my DD wanted to do some good and filled the catfood dish to the rim. We have one of those side by side ones, and I guess water got onto the catfood and caused it to mold. I had no idea it could mold so fast, within a day. But it's in where the shower is, so I guess the steam of the shower helped it along. Well, that explains the cat throwing up! I was not very pleased about the toilet, and barked at DH to better get it fixed! Go downstairs, and get into a HUGE arguement with DS, who couldn't find his mechanical pencil and he had NO OTHER PENCIL BECAUSE HE IS A POOR AND DEPRIVED CHILD!!! Cry me a river!! Of course, he is accusing his sister, who swears she did not take it! Well, after much crying, he finally finds it, under a piece of HIS clothing. Of course, DD put it there! At least that's what he says, so it must be true!

THEN...to top it all off, I glanced outside in the backyard through my kitchen window and find that one of the dogs has ripped one of the pool noodles to shreds and here are bits of purple floating all over the pool. I go out there and pick up the rest of the purple stuff that hasn't made it in the pool yet, I go inside and yell at my DD because she's been the only one that has used the pool in the past few days!! I have had it!! We have gone through SO many pool stuff, it's ridiculous! My female Golden shreds whatever she can get her teeth on. Strangely, she only likes to shred pool toys, nothing else. I guess it can be a good AND bad thing. The kids have been told SO many times to put the things away, but do they? NO! I am tired of constantly having to replace the stuff. At least those noodles are cheap enough but still...it's really frustrating!

Oh well, now they are off at school. I have a big cup of coffee in front of me, in my pink Minnie Mouse mug, and trying to wind down before I have to head out to work!

All is good though...because...WE ARE GOING ON A DISNEY CRUISE IN 11 MONTHS 1 WEEK AND 5 DAYS!!

ugh! My day got even better!! They banned the DIS boards from the work network! I kind of expected it though since it's a message board. It's a school network so students use it too, so they are very careful on what they allow. They have some sort of computer checking websites that people use. I could probably send them an email and they would unblock after a real person checks it, since it's family friendly, but I am too embarrassed to ask!

Hope everyone had a nice mothers Day our oldest son graduated with his MBA accounting could not ask for a better present. The Dis boards were banned from our school network too. got my braces off today and get the retainer tomorow.

I am home from work now! I am soooo tired! Work has really been busy lately, with the school year almost over we have tons to do! Wish I could take a nap about now!

Hey, just a quick check in on what Disney calls HIGH SPEED INTERNET (don't believe it)

We've had a great time so far. Weather hasn't been bad. Crowds have been fairly light. Service has been.....well, sometimes not up to Disney standards. Take, for example, the very very nasty thing we found in our room after we had our DVC trash and towel service. Yes, a trip in to speak to the MANAGER of the housekeeping department (and some other fairly important woman who did not identify her position) and it was straightened out. But suffice it to say I surely hope the SAME housekeeper doesn't clean our room on Friday (our next scheduled day) I'll tell you all more about it when I get back.....and maybe after the nightmares stop. Disney's Year of a Million Dreams ---unfortunately some of them are bad dreams! (shudder)

Good morning everyone! Got a few e-mails from Karen yesterday as they were enjoying Animal Kingdom last night and were looking for Idol results. They did manage to get back to the villa to see the last half hour.

Personally I'm sad at the results but I know the contestant will go on to many wonderful things. Others who haven't been the winner have done the same.

Hi all! I worked all day yesterday (8:15 - 4), and was ready to go to bed at 7. Of course, I couldn't. I had big plans for today. I had agreed to sub for the office manager at my kids school from 1 - 4pm, so I was going to drop the kids off at school, and go back to bed for a bit longer. I have been SO tired lately! I was looking foward to it, but when I came downstairs this morning, there was a message on my machine from her (office manager) saying that she isn't feeling well and that she is just taking the day off. ugh. So much for my nap! I called the school and said I'll be there. I am on lunch break now!

I was disappointed with the AI results too. I hoped for a Melinda/Jordin finale. I just don't "get" Blake, I guess. I liked Melinda in the beginning, she was my favorite, and I still liked her to the end, however, Jordin, who I didn't really pay much attention to in the beginning, really grew on me a lot. I hope she wins!

Anyone have any big plans for the weekend? Nothing here. Just a nice quiet weekend at home. I have a mini-scrapbook to do for a friend of my mom's. Never got to it last week like I wanted.

I think Karen said they come home on Sunday. Can't wait to hear all about their adventures in WDW.

Speaking of WDW - have you guys read the latest Mouse Matters. One of Mike's best!

Hi all took a vacation day today we have to use them by July 1st or loose them and i still have 8 more to use. it is sunny here today but only 51 degrees still hope to mow the lawn after 1pm. wondering why no other new cruisers have joined us yet
