That is so funny because I used to live in T-Town (Tuscaloosa as well) but in answer to your question I am not a Nascar fan although I have been to an auto race in Penscaola. I am originally from Mobile which is an hour from Boloxi and Penscaola and 3 hours from New Orleans.

To my fellow buckeye - That is awesome that you are also a member of the Buckeye Club. We also plan our trips around the Buckeye Football Season and are DVC members. What else do we have in common? lol We are planning a Land and Sea vacation in October and made sure to schedule it when 2 away games are being played.

I told my husband that there was no way that I would sell my Ohio State-Michigan tickets. It was truly the game of a lifetime. He gave me the Ohio State-Michigan print which shows the shoe with 1:30 seconds left on the clock. It shows the score and the entire shoe. I am planning to have it framed with my tickets and hanging it in my Ohio State themed bedroom.

Believe it or not last year was my first year as a Buckeye Cllub member! Talk about timing and I didn't even realize that we would be ranked as high as we were when we joined. My tickets are in the closed end of the shoe - near where the band marches in.

It would be great to do dinner or drinks after a game. We usually stay in town for the night and plan to stay this year at the Varsity Inn which is right next to the Buckeye Cafe.

I hope you get the weather that is predicted. I could not live in such a cold climate as I've been in Southern California my whole life. In the summer it will be 110 at my house.

I believe it was called Florence. I know we went through (or to) Muscle Shoals (or maybe Mussel Shoals) There was a family there who was good friends with our family. We'd go visit sometimes or he'd come up to Ohio. He was a character! Served us brains and scrambled eggs one time. Kept trying to convince my parents to move down there. Offered them free property if they'd come. When he'd come to Ohio we'd never know he was coming....we'd just get a call..."Hey, this is Jerry Duke, I'm about 20 minutes away, mind if I stay with you for a week?"

We all just got done watching Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure. Kids were CRACKING up during it. They've learned a lot about the historical figures covered in it, so we can count it as "history review."

Gotta love So-crates and Napoleon. And Ms. Of Arc is pretty funny too.

Well, we all know how accurate weather forecasts can be! I am REALLY hoping for snow melt. I know, I know, I used to complain that our winters were too blah and 38 and rainy instead of snowy. But I'm tired of shovelling, snow blowing, being cooped up in the house, and otherwise going crazy!!!

you're not gonna believe this, but I have had the Disney Cruise Line planning DVD for months now and have never watched it. I have watched the Travel Channel show several times and have had it on my DVR since last year June Well, this evening we finally watched the planning DVD. I am even more excited now!! I even got DH excited, well, at least a little...

Hey, quick question...today I got a confirmation letter in the mail from DCL. Well, I first booked Nov. 1st, 2006, and received a confirmation about 2 weeks later. I have since then made a payment in January and February. I did'nt get anything after the January payment, but now this after the Feb. which shows my balance. It looks just like the confirmation letter that I received after my inital booking with the exception of the remaining balance being much lower! It has all of our information, birthdates, etc. etc. Is it normal to get a confirmation like that after every payment you make? I just found it odd that I got it, esp. since I didn't get one in January!
