April 26, 2013 8 night Magic out of Galveston

Hello EVERYONE!!

Just joining the conversation because my sister is letting me take an open spot in her cruise group!! WOOOHOOO  I have never been on a cruise & I can not wait to enjoy this trip!

great bonding time with my sister who is 10 years older than me and my 10 & 13 year old neices!!

Any last minute helpful info for this newbie!

Thank you so much!!:yay::yay::yay:

I know! We always end up doing laundry on vacation so I'm glad!

I'm a pack rat. I always overpack, but then don't have one or two items that I need on the trip and end up with lots of stuff we don't end up using. LOL I'm thinking of challenging myself to pack (much) less on this trip. In my favor, I did pack for a 3 week trip to the UK in only a rolling carryon bag and the matching tote (before the TSA 311 rules). And this is a short trip, by our standards. We usually vacation for at least two or three weeks at a stretch. :thumbsup2

Would love to join the FB page. This is a first Disney cruise for myself, hubby and our girls (7 & 5). Not going to try the FE this time but would love to "stay in the loop" regarding the cruise! : ) I've requested to join the FB page.
Thanks,
Amy M.

Happy Hour is definitely a go!!

April 28th, 3-4pm at Sessions Bar.

Last day to pay is 4/11

Hope to see you there!!

Ok Just a few reminders, we are just two weeks out, wear lais at port when checking in and milling about (any color will do) this way we can meet each other, meet and greet is at 3pm on embarkation (Any room change made at port will be noted at this time for FE's), Happy Hour needs to be paid for by 4/11, also be sure to sign up for Cabin Tour if interested, Group Pirate Photo is on Pirate Night.

My husband and I live in Dallas, Gold Castaway Club, no kiddos. Celebrating our 25th Anniversary onboard. Just booked on a whim! Very excited. Just back from WDW as a last hurrah on expiring annual passes. I could not believe the stop at Port Canaveral actually included a park hopper pass and transportation. Yippee--a second round of the Flower and Garden Festival.

So excited!

Cabin Tour Plan

Here is the plan for the cabin tour. Meet in the Atrium at 3:15pm on Saturday April 27th. I’ll wear my lei so everyone can find me.

We’ll take the Midship elevators / stairs to Deck 2 port side for room 2100 (9B Deluxe Oceanview with porthole) and 2633 (10C Deluxe Inside)

Then we’ll take the Aft elevators up to Deck 7 starboard side for 7628 (7A Navigators Veranda), 7563 (11A Standard Inside) and 7540 (5A Deluxe Veranda).

Finally up to Deck 8 port side via the Midship elevators / stairs to 8030 (Category R) the Walt Disney Suite.

We had several duplicate room types, so I tried to arrange the tour with the least amount of walking. Let me know if anyone has any suggestions / concerns. I wanted to wait and see if anyone else wanted to sign up before I made any final tour plans.

See you all in two weeks!

Hi all!
Just learned about DB. This will be our first Disney cruise and my kids' first ever cruise. It will be myself, my husband, our 3 and 7 year olds, plus my parents. Is it too late to joint the Fish Extender group? I know my kids would LOVE it.
Thanks!
Brooke Karr :)

I was going through the deck plan marking everyone in my group - Group #5 (Late Comers) and I can't find Cabin 7117. Just to be sure, I went searched for it on the deck plans online and it says its an invalid cabin number. Kim or John: would you please double check your cabin number and let us know?

** Please check your cabin number and update the spreadsheet**

Brooke,
If you have a Facebook account, there is a lot of activity on that pages. Link is on page 12 I believe of this board. There were a couple other latecomers that you may be able to exchange with!
Hope that helps, heather

Unfortunately the FE list is closed. But feel free to ask if anyone wants to swap with you :)

Please note -
BIP - Chris, Shelley, Robert (15), Rita (12) in ALL the FE groups changed their cabin to 8080.

In the late comers group, Kim, John, Jake (2) had a typo in their cabin #. The correct cabin is 7119
