April 24 - April 28 Crowds

Ok, so how crowded does everyone think it will be this week??? The kids here in Long island have off, but I think there are only a few states of schools that have off. Anyone else know of anything going on that week, that might make it crowded??

We went in Jan of 2004, and it was empty. We loved loved it.

There have been a couple threads on this.
I happen to think it is going to be kind of crowded since many of the rooms in the resorts are full.
We are going 4/23-4/30 and we're hoping it would not be too bad but I don't know about that anymore. We'll see. With a good touring plan hopefuilly it will be fine.

We went to WDW one year at the end of April and it was one of the best trips we had. We are going April 22 to April 30. Airfare is ridiculous, but I am hoping it will go down soon!

Have a good plan, be flexible, and have fun! This is coming from someone who travelled to WDW with a 3 month old baby...and are returning when he is almost 10 months...don't sweat the crowds! You may have to be creative in your touring plan, but crowds are manageable.

We will also be there at that time. I think it will be really crowded so we are trying to prepare for that. To answer your question, I know that one of the nights that week will have a grad party at MK. My DH's cousin goes to a major parochial school on LI and they are having their senior trip to WDW that week. They are staying at CBR. I don't know how many other schools will be there but that one will be.

We will be there also. That is our Spring Break. We did this a few years ago and it wasn't too bad. I guess we'll have to make plans accordingly to accomodate the grad night.

I am going 22-30th this year, went the same time last year, and it was nice, not too busy or crowded. made ps's and they werent even needed.

In looking at some of the spring break threads a while back, we picked 4/10 - 4/15 as the week to go. It is after the big Easter rush. When we made our room reservations, CM confirmed this was a good choice. Have continued to check April trip threads and still see very few people with our week.
