My family is booked for our first cruise. We are so excited!
Its me(37), DH(37),DD(12) and DD(10).

Anyone else?

We'll be there!!!! This is our very first cruise and we cannot wait :woohoo: It'll be me(32)and dh(35), and our kids (ds 12, dd 10).

YEAH! Glad to see you found this thread!

Looks like our younger girls will have a buddy!
Is your son going to do the Lab or is he old enough to go to Aloft? DD12 will be 13 May 4th so she is going to check both out!

This is our first cruise as well. Girls have been bugging me for years and I just couldn't pass it up with this deal. Our date is on purpose...had to go before DD turned 13!!!

Hey, our kids are the same ages, too cool! My daughter is a bit unsure about doing the lab, which really surprises me. I think once she's there, she'll be fine with it. I'm sure my son will spend lots of time in the lab LOL He just turns 12 the day before the cruise.
I had told my kids no more missing school for Disney since they just missed 7 days in Sept for Disney. BUT I couldn't pass this deal up! They kids free promo was enough to get me ;)

My DD10 is so excited to go. I don't think she is planning to see us much except for dinner and Nassau! Maybe we can get them emailing each other...having a buddy to meet up with is ALWAYS easier!

We just came back from a week in WDW right before Christmas. Wasn't planning to cruise this soon but hey...plans change!!

That's a great idea! My daughter tends to be a bit on the shy side, so having a friend already made would be great for her! We'll have to PM each other their email address's.

I just love Disney at Christmas time! Our next trip will be the week before Christmas this upcoming December, I can't wait!

Sending you a PM.

That is a great time to go. We always go right before Christmas. Our last day is usually around the 21st- we are FL residents and our passes go into blackout then! I haven't planned that far into the year yet...we may be there at the same time. Have you decided where you are staying yet?

:wave2: Hello fellow cruiser! I can't believe we're still the only ones LOL
I spent today reading up on transportation to/from the port. It looks like we'll be flying in the 22nd and staying at the Hyatt at MCO. Then pick up a rental car the next morning (got a great rate of $60 for Thurs-Sun) and drive on over. Parking is $15 a day, so it's a really cheap option!
Now I have to start pricing out flights :headache: I wish we could drive, but 21 hours was just too much, never again :scared1:

do you ladies go into these chat things? I am just trying to figure out the best way to get info

We'll be there also. Myself, DH and DD's 10 and 12. At this time I am planning for them to both be together in the lab when they are not with us. First time cruise for the kids. Second time for me and 3rd for DH. DH and I did the BIG RED BOAT back in 1987. This was the Disney cruise before Disney had their own cruise ships.

I was starting to think we were going to have the whole ship to ourselves but I'm glad this isn't the case.

You are doing great! We are driving in from VA-about 12 hrs. We will drive in on the 22nd as well...not sure where we will stay yet. I understand and feel the pain of the 21hr drive. We lived in TX for 3 years and the drive was BRUTAL. I don't miss it!

Yeah! More people! I can't believe we all have kids the same age...fun for them!

Welcome to the group!

Hi Cindy! Wow, 3 out of 4 of us with 12/10 yr olds!! lol
I've found some other disney cruise boards and was reading on them today. Can you believe I still haven't ran across another roll call for our cruise? Maybe we'll all get awesome upgrades

the chat session earlier tonight was very helpful. people had great tips and advice

it was great talking to you as well momto2

I have a feeling if we keep chatting you are gonna be my official disney mentor. lol

I am jealous of your disney history. I actually went with my ex-husband back in 1996........before the "flood" thats what i call the divorce. lol
