April 2026 airfare

While Tampa is an option, I don't think Jacksonville would be. Jacksonville would be ~ 2 1/2 hours.

Daytona (DAB) is about 75 minutes
Melbourne (MLB) is also about 75 minutes
Sanford (SFB) is about 45 minutes
With 1-4 traffic, Tampa can be over 2 hours, too! I stopped flying into Tampa a few years ago, too risky. If flying out of Tampa from the WDW area, you would need to leave about 3.5 to 4 hours prior to your flight to make sure you have enough time. Not worth it.

I agree Tampa's not ideal, and yes, I would plan on at least two hours of drive, probably 2 1/2 if I were doing it to catch a flight. I still think it's a better option than Jax, and if you save a bunch of money?

Same situation here. I don't think the flights this year for April (a few days before Easter and staying the whole week after) were as expensive as they are for next year. Similar scenario.

We did not book and prices just went up again - pricing JetBlue, United, etc. EWR to MCO. Not sure if we should book or wait a bit longer. 7 flying one day and 4 the next.

Good luck to us all!

Definitely better than Jacksonville! Sanford can be an option, too. I guess if you’re saving a bunch of money, it might be worth it, can’t argue that!
