April 2011 AP Rates

Any idea when the AP rates for the mid-end of April will be out? I want to book! Should I just book now (at full price) and then call back as soon as the AP rates come out?

OP, don't be surprised if the next round of AP discounts start for checkin on April 30th or May 1st. Often the week before and the week after Easter are blacked out of discounts. Of course you never know if this will continue. If they need to fill rooms because of low attendance, then you may see a discount, but if history repeats itself, these weeks are often blacked out of discounts. Just be ready to pay rack rate if the discounts do not happen and if they do, then that will be a huge dose of pixie dust for you.

HI! We are considering buying an PAP for our Easter trip, but only if AP discount becomes available! Anyone know if and when it might happen?

Last year they had unadvertised discounts for Easter on the AP site. You could access them by just plugging in your dates to get the discount. If I remember right, it happened a month before Easter. We got very good rates last year!

yes, that's what i did--and at the time i had no idea i'd be doing it. i called today and switched from a rack rate room at POP and switched to an AP rate at CSR and paid only a little more. my mother and i also have reservations at AKL for may--booked at full price. i'm waiting until may AP rates come out and then calling and changing it (though i'll likely not save any money because i want to upgrade to savannah view). there are so many things to learn about the whole disney booking process--i now understand why people teach classes on disney vacation planning at my local community college! ha!
