April 2009 - last week crowds at BC

At the Y&B Club, I know when East coast schools have off that the crowds are affected drastically, if NY/NJ are off earlier in April, and only MASS and NH are off the week of April 20 - 24, 2009 would the attendance at the Y&B club that week be pretty bad? Or would it be closer to the moderate crowds of May ??

We went this past April 25-30. I thought it wouldn't be that crowded since Easter was so early this year and schools in NJ had off in March. Well, when I tried to add a night at the BC on the 24th, it was booked. In fact, all of the resorts were booked. They did have one room at the GF for $2500 for that night, but we decided to pass on that one! Anyway, the crowds at the parks weren't too bad. Of course, there were still long waits for the more popular rides, but definitely managable. The weather that week was perfect - in the 80s all week, no humidity, just perfect. The pool at the BC wasn't even that crowded - I was surprised. It was great! I would definitely visit at that time again!

Actually, NH school vacations start the last Monday of April. Mass school vacations start the Monday of Patriot's day (the week before NH). Here's a thread poll I found very informative:

great thread thanks, yes, I knew thought that Mass is off April 20 - 24th, I mistakenly said NH off the same week, but I think Mass has much more of an affect on crowds than NH anyway

my dh does not like crowds at the hotel especially, he'd rather pay for new annual passes and go in May,
but I am just trying to figure out if it is only Mass, and not NY & NJ with that, if it would be very noticeable

We arrived at Disney on April 27-30 the crowds at Magic Kingdom were CRAZY!!! But every other park was fine!!! We had an awesome vacation the weather was great!!!! I would go again 4sure!!!
