Hello everyone!

This will be our second DCL cruise - the first one was a 4 day Bahamas cruise on the Wonder during Memorial Day week in May, 2009. It was great! We thought we'd take advantage and sail on the Magic before it went off to ports unknown... We will be on one of the last sailings of the Magic in the carribbean!

I did not know that the Magic was leaving the Caribbean routes... thanks for that tidbit.

We were on the Wonder in May, 2008. That was good, so April should be GREAT... (or is that, Magic?)

Maybe I'm not reading this right, but while this cruise is little over a month before the EB TA, it isn't one of the last sailings in the Caribbean. The Magic comes back from the Med in Sept 2011.

I'm glad to see so many new posts here... I was starting to think we'd have the ship all to ourselves!

I've been wondering about the weather (especially water temp) in early April, too. Our last cruise (2008) was in mid-May, and the water at CC and Nassau was very warm and pleasant.

Looking forward to SCUBA, too, but I'm leaning towards Cozumel, though Cayman is great, too. Cayman, though, might be my snorkeling port.

Hi Earl! My wife and I and out two boys (6 and 4) will be on board with you.

I am a SCUBA diver, and will be doing the 2 tank dive at the Grand Caymen Wall. Wee! I'm not 100% sold on Cozumel.

This will be our first cruise, DCL, or otherwise, and we are really looking forward to it. Got out plane tix, so it seems a lot more 'real' now.

My first time checking back here in a while - so, besides my two, we have two 6 y/o boys and two 9 y/o boys in the group? We should definitely plan to meet on departure day!

We're just back from WDW. I ran the Wine & Dine half and then the family joined me for a few more days. We ended the week at Seaworld and after watching my guys here, I think we definitely need to hit Stingray City in Grand Cayman. All the divers are really making me want to dive in Cozumel, especially since not much else there really appeals to me.

Has anyone started investigating shore excursions? I tend to prefer to book outside of the ship's offerings, it's worked well for us in the past.

Welcome, all!

I am somewhat leaning toward diving in Cozumel, and being "on our own" in Grand Cayman. We've been there once before, to Cemetery Reef, and really enjoyed it. Also, you don't have to commit half a day!

Just the current thinking... always subject to change, of course.

Wow! We're really getting quite a group together. We are still ridiculously excited about the cruise and we still have what seems like an eternity to wait.

We may do the FE, not sure right now.

Just got back from our most recent cruise and can't wait for this one. My only hope is that the kids onboard are a little better behaved this time around. This past cruise was the first time we have ever had any issues with them.

I booked SCUBA in Cozumel. Subject to change, of course, after I research it and read about others' experiences.

Any other solo divers looking for a buddy?

I got paired with a buddy on the dive boat the last time I was on a cruise (in Nassau). The guy may have been competent as a diver, but I'm sure glad I never needed to rely on him for assistance of any kind!

Just joining this thread as i paid off the cruise & booked Palo and some fun excursions! It will be me, celebrating a BIG birthday, my DH, and our DD who will turn 13 on the cruise, we can't wait!!!
