We returned from our first family trip to WDW,and we had a ball! We drove about 10 hours to get there,and stayed the night in Orlando the first night. I wasn't comfortable with the motel,(some shady people)and we were out of there first thing in the morning. We were at POR by 8:00 that morning,and I can't say enough about this resort. The place was beautiful,and the people were so helpful,and nice. Our room was ready first thing in the morning. We had a great location on the river. Just about two minutes to the bus stop,food court,pool. We were checked in,and in the MK by 9:30! My ds(5) was ready to go. The look on his face when he saw everything was priceless. He is tall for his age,and was able to do everything. He loved the new 3d show,SM,Buzz we did several times. He beat me everytime! He loved HM(thought it was funny),TMRR, Goofy's Barnstormer. He loved meeting the charecters! He thought it was funy Mickey nodded for a sip of my coke,and started shaking it. It was alittle more crowed than I thought it would be this time of year. We used fastpass alot. We did early entry which was great! We ate lunch at Cosmic Rays. The cheeseburgers were good. We ate dinner the first night at Chef Mickey's. That was alot of fun. Got alot of great pictures. My ds(5) had to tell Minnie about the coke,and she laughed. With PS we walked right in got our picture taken,and were seated. We went back to the MK for Spectro Magic,and Wishes. Do not miss! Wishes was beautiful. My son liked it when Tinkelbell came out of the castle,and the castle turned different colors while the fireworks,and music played. It was really magical. We headed back to room to get some rest for AK.
