Does anyone know what movies are playing on the cruise ship?
I am trying to organize the FE gifts. It is harder than I thought. I have them all in once suit case

I booked a July 8 night sailing out of NYC ... transferred my deposit from a 5 night Dream sailing I had booked for the same month. Its pricey BUT its actually the better buy. Its costing the same to do 3 more nights and I'll save over 2K on airfare for 5 and 350 on DCL transfers by driving 2 hours or so to the port plus I'd wind up doing a day or 2 at WDW after the 5 night (more $)

best part is DW HATES flying - she's thrilled to skip that part

Now I can get beck to concentrating on next week !!!

DD and I watched Pirates of the Caribbean. We had never seen any so we thought it was time. We enjoyed us and it defiantely got us more in the mood.

I told DD (11) that we would see Capt Jack Sparrow on the ship and she rolled her eyes at me. I miss the days when she BELIEVED the characters were real.

The suitcases are in the car and headed south in the morning. My parents are driving down and will pick us up at the airport Friday. Friday can't come soon enough. Looked at the 10 day forecasts for our ports and the weather looks great. Have a great last few days everyone. Mickey is calling our names!!!

Thanks everyone for all the posts. They have definitely helped me get through the long wait for this trip. I woke up this morning and instead of thinking that I had too much time to wait, I was thinking OMG I only have 2 days to get all this stuff done!

Safe travels to everyone! I hope to meet you aboard, but if I don't, may your trip be everything you dreamed of, and your memories ones that will last a lifetime!

What a GREAT CRUISE!!

I wonder how many of you I saw and didn't know it??

The weather was awesome - the excursions were fantastic.... it was the best vacation we ever took - albeit the most expensive (the bill at the end was 2700 - oops) but it was worth it!!

That's been me all day. Where's my room steward? Where's my room service? Where's my drink of the day? Where's my tropical paradise? Sigh.

Off to get the kids ready for bed; we've got school and work tomorrow. I am going to work on a trip report/scrapbook journaling about the trip though. I really enjoyed our trip on the Magic.

And a big thank you to everyone who took part in the FE exchanges!!! My daughter especially loved checking to see if she had gotten any presents each time we came back to the cabin. It was such fun!

By the way, if anyone was in the terminal last Saturday when they announced the family of the day and you noticed that the mom had a big, goofy grin on her face - that was me! Absolutely perfect bit of magic to start our trip!

I keep thinking "last week at this time I was doing...". I nearly cried leaving that ship.

I am also thinking of writing a trip report, no photos thou, we hardly took anyway.

My question is: did anyone re-book another cruise while onboard? We did! We booked Wonder to Alaska in Aug 2012.

Thanks to everyone who did the FEs. I must say some of you are sooooo talented! The bag, the Christmas ornament, the photo album, magnets, bags with necessary items. There is too much to name and so wonderful.

Well....I beat you....my final bill walking off the cruise was $2900.....whoops. I don't know if DH has quite comprehended that fact - the good news is that they didn't do it as all one charge but broke it up so it doesn't look THAT bad - haha

IT WAS A GREAT CRUISE!!! I actually started crying on the last day when Capitan John came on and starting talking about our final voyage.

I want to THANK YOU ALL for the GENEROUS FE gifts. My kids O'd on candy that is for sure! I didn't put my name on anything but I was the one with all the pirate stuff. I wasn't super organized since I had been away the week before with work so I apologize for you who might have been out of that age bracket. I didn't wind up having a chance to get anything that was adult specific.

We did the Cozumel Dolphins from 10-1 but I was SO SICK that morning - I think my body was trying to tell me to stop eating 8x per day - so we did the dolphins and went immediately back to the boat.

We didn't wind up re-booking only b/c I couldn't even fathom putting a budget in place.

We didn't meet anything I think from this list - unless you have a daughter Abigail and she hung out with my daughter Emma - who was at the Mickey Pool 24/7. I think they were from RI so if anyone knows them let me know.

Our servers were great - Jose & Marco - we were table 30 and we did late seating Parrot Cay, Lumiere, Animat Pal, Animat Pal, Part Cay, Lumiere, Animators Palate. Our character breakfast was on Thurs AM @ Part Cay.

I spent WAY too much time in the spa too

I am missing the boat already and want to go back.

My kids (who are 7 & 5) weren't thrilled with the Islands but we had the BEST BEST TIME at Castaway Cay. Next time I want to do a double dip there.

OH and I took 2000 pictures, bought the stupid CD and A LOT of prints (hence my bill) lol - I took my camera EVERYWHERE!!!
