So I fell down some stairs and broke the bones in my leg almost two weeks ago. I had surgery to have plates and screws put in both bones, tibia and fibula, same leg. I am gradually hopping around on crutches.
By cruise time I will still have boot, use crutches and we are thinking we will likely get a wheelchair to use on the ship as it will be too much walking.
Dang I am disappointed but we will do the things we can and enjoy shows and sun and food.
Sooooooo, we will have the "modified" cruise experience but we are still looking forward to it.
Oh, and I will probably be easy to pick out at the port for those looking to meet up...

. Thought I would share a quick story that might make you feel better.
We have a good laugh about it every time we see the pictures, and isn't that why we take these trips...to create fun memories?
. Oh well. We WILL be enjoying the food this cruise.
So we will go pick them up saturday morning. It won't be long now everyone. I still don't think that we have finalized a place to meet. I know that last cruise I did, a lot of us wore lime green shirts to help recognize each other. That was supposed to be the dis colors. It worked, we all stood out and found each other. Just an idea.
