Our school district just changed Easter break so that it will fall the first week of April 2017 rather than April. Can anyone give me insight on how crowds will be? I can't compare the last couple years because Easter fell over that time period. I think I would choose to go then if the crowds are a 5-6, but not if they are 7-8.
Our alternative is taking the kids out of school for a week the following October or November, which is doable because they are in elementary school, but not preferable. We have DVC so want to book at 11 months and most of the crowd calendars we use aren't out yet.
We have 4 young kids, do rope drop, have a DAS which we use on kids rides (he can't do coasters, so we FP them), take mid-day breaks, and do all of our dining reservations six months out. I am OK with moderate crowds and short waits, but I went once over New Year's and waited two hours for Nemo - never again!
Thanks!
