I am a die hard planner. For years I painstakingly made detailed, color coded Excel spreadsheets with all of the info we needed as well as others that we might need if we wanted to do extra things. As good as they were, it was a pain to keep digging it out of my bag at the park, & I just didn't like looking at it on my phone because it was too much information to view at once on a small screen. Last year I found the Cozi app & now I use this exclusively. Though I don't use it for its intended purpose (family planning), it really does the trick. You can easily see what you have planned for the day at a glance as well as add in extra notes. Instead of using the color coding in the app for various family members, I used them for categories like dining reservations, or FP+. The notes field allows for easy reservation # storage, too. I even put lines in for particular food items like cupcakes we might want to find in a particular location. The best part is that you can share the calendar with everyone in the family so they can view the schedule whenever they want on their phone instead of always asking you. I really like this app & hope they add more features to enhance the experience. The only downside I've found so far is the inability to copy an item to another day, that would be really handy. Have others started using apps like this? What have been your experiences?
