Applying to both DLR and WDW CP Question

I had a rather rushed interview, and the interviewer called late, so I'd worked myself up and completely forgot to ask about the new application process. I applied to both California and Florida, and they used to be separate programs but this time around I had one interview for both. Does that mean I can still be accepted for both, or am I stuck in whichever one Disney picks for me? I'd much rather WDW, and only wanted DLR if that didn't work out, and I don't think that came across in my interview at all.

i've got the same problem... i was under the impression that i would (in theory) be able to pick which one i would go to if i was accepted for both.

i would MUCH rather go to wdw and only wanted DL if i wasn't accepted to WDW... Now i feel like they are going to choose for me.. and i didn't get the chance to say i would prefer WDW over DL in my phone interview..

i almost feel like i should call... but i bombed my interview anyways so i probably won't be accepted to either program

I had the exact same impression and problem. I emailed and then decided I needed to call. They chose for you if you applied to both, but I had them add a note to my file that I'd rather WDW. The email said
"Unfortunately, you will not be accepted into both programs. You will be placed where you best fit based on your application and interview."

I would call if you are worried. You may think you bombed your interview, but you never know. They understand nervousness, I'm sure.

I called my mom crying last year because I did so bad on the interview that I knew I wouldn't be accepted. Eight days later I got my acceptence letter. Don't worry so much

Thanks Everyone is saying that im being too hard on my self and as long as i didn't say anything rude/offensive or not answer the questions at all i should be okay. but i just feel like i did so bad i don't want to get my hopes up :/

It would be great to only have to wait 8 days though!!! lol

Another thing to consider is that the DL program is less than a tenth the size of WDW, so the chance of getting DL is much smaller.

That's why I made sure to add the note that I'd prefer WDW, to set my mind at ease. I know DL's program is a lot more competitive...I'm a pretty good candidate, so I stand a shot at getting into either(2 years theme park experience, 4 years working for a party company where my job is basically to make magic happen and make people happy), and I don't want to take the spot of someone that really wants DL when I'd be just as or happier at the world. I'm sure they'll consider that and pick someone more gung-ho about DL.

I also mentioned in my interview that one of the reasons I wanted Photopass was that I could be sent to work anywhere in the four parks and the waterparks and I was really excited about that. So hopefully that's where I'll be. The waiting is killing me.
