Apply and Use Disney Visa Discount Same Day

I had a current reservation for our Honeymoon in July for the Boardwalk. I applied for the Disney Visa this morning and recieved email confirmation that it was accepted.

I just called the reservation 800 number from the disney website and let them know I had just applied for and was accepted for the Disney VISA. They should be able to then update your reservation to the discount then at that point. Let them know your just trying to take advantage of the discount now since your card won't show up for another week or two

If the first person isn't able to do this (they were for me) then just call back but I assume they all can change your discount promo code to the disney discounted pricing.



Also note they said I would either need to use my Disney Visa later or at least have it upon arrival to check-in to show to them.

Me either - I was told I need the full number on the card to book free dining today, and Chase won't give you the number over the phone.

Woohoo!! It worked!! Give it another try - they said I had to wait when I called this morning, so I called again just now!! NO wait on the phone, was done in less than 10 minutes!! Even the CM was excited for me! LOL! You will need the last 4 digits of the card to verify (you can find it in your profile in My Disney Experience)

how did you get your card in your Disney Experience Account?
Just called back and lady was very nice but said they would cancel my reservation if they saw free dining with no Disney Visa on file with 200.00 deposit. and I don't have the complete number...

The card number was saved to my account and is under payment methods. It will give you the last 4 digits and the expiration date on the card. I just got the confirmation email, so it went through

I had used the card last week to book the ressie. That's how it was saved to my profile.

I think you need to check the date of the first post. It looks like the OP was able to take advantage of a different Visa offer, not the one released today. It is Disney policy to give a Visa discount only if you have the card in hand.
