Applique technique - how hard?

OK, I've spent some time on the Disigners board, and made a couple of cute personalized t-shirts for our trip. Now I'm ready to tackle appliques. But I don't know where to begin!!! I have a sewing machine, and I want to make my daughter some cute outfits for our trip in May. She'll be 7 and this is probably the last chance I'll have to "dress her up" in my own boutique style clothes!!!! Where can I find info on how to applique???

DISBoutiquers is part of the DisBoards. If you went to the main page and found the family thread. It's there. But I'm putting in the link.

The thread has been so large, that Sticky just moved us. We talk about sewing, techniques and buying custom clothes. You should see the amazing things that are made. It's really a fun group.

There are usually quite a few from DE there. I'm in Wilmington.

Going off to check it out. I used to be big into sewing, and have gotten away from it...but really need to make a Cricut cover, so have to find my machine...

We've also created a separate board - there is a great tutorial there that explains appliques in detail. You will need to register and be logged in to be able to view topics. Registration is open to everyone, and immediate.
