I think I'm going to have a nervous breakdown. We finally got the dishwasher problem solved -- Mom and Dad bought a new one for us (after four months of handwashing dishes), and this morning, the washer decided to break. Water all over the floor. I'll have to hope that it's repairable -- it's 13 years old, and there's NO POSSIBLE WAY I can afford to buy a new one. Clothes are much harder to wash by hand than dishes (I know, just go to the laundromat, dummy). I'm hoping it's just a hose that broke. Please hope with me.

Shop on Craigslist for a washer if you cannot afford new. I will think good thoughts for you that it is something simple.

Our dishwasher broke last week. I miss my dishwasher.;)

All my appliances are at their "end of life" they are between 18-20 years old. My brain keeps telling me I've gotten good use out of them but so far this year I've replaced just about every appliance plus my roof and my air conditioner

Luckily most of the stores in my area had those 6 months no interest deals, so we kept our moola in the bank and paid for them within those six months. A/C just went 2 weeks ago to the tune of 6K :scared1:

And some one is really going to have to explain to my why a washer cost 2 grand?
