I've heard and read that there are rebates available for upgrading appliances. I understand that they are availabe for things such as a hot water heater (which we need to replace now) and beginning April 1st they will be available for appliances such as refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, etc. We are finally after 20 years upgrading our kitchen and will be in the market for all of these. My problem is I can't seem to find information online how to get these rebates. Is there a form that needs to be filled out or what? Also, does anybody know if we were to purchase our refrigerator, stove, and dishwasher from say Lowe's would they give us a deal for buying all of these at one store?

Thanks, I have been to those sites but I must be missing how to apply for the rebates. I can't seem to find any downloadable rebated forms. Am I just missing it?:confused3

Anybody have any input on getting a deal for purchasing more than one appliance at Lowe's? They have the French Door refrigerator that I really like...Samsung. Anybody have input on Samsung's refrigerators? I also like the Frigidaire Gallery gas range. I would love to have input on that too. Haven't decided on a dishwasher yet so I'm open to suggestions for that too. I don't need anything too expensive or with too many bells and whistles. Thanks...you guys are the best:love:

how to apply for rebates?

Yes, it is supposed to be kind of like the "cash for clunkers" where they want you to get rid of your older appliances and buy more energy efficient appliances and get a rebate for doing so. Rebates are available now for things such as hot water heaters, furnaces, and I think air conditioners. April 1st they will start offering rebates on appliances such as refrigerators, stoves, and dishwashers. The amount of the rebate may depend on the state you live in but I'm not sure.
