Appliance Direct!

Just got back from 2 weeks in Orlando yesterday and one of the most funniest things I have seen on TV has to be the Appliance Direct ads! The guy in them made me laugh so much!

Anyone else seen them? I hear they are only shown in Florida.

Oh dear! I cant believe they show this guy on the TV - at least we know not to buy a European dish washer

Oh my word! My fave advert in Florida is the Baskin-Robbins one where the kid won't eat his peas - classic

Yep, DH took great delight in watching this advert most mornings to wind me up! I think he knew each result for each appliance. And why did europe always come out the worst?

We were addicted to these in 2005. We often use the word "sanitary" instead of "hygenic" now and added "wacky-noo-noo" to our family vocabulary.

adverts are funny anyway but US ones seem to be more so !
