Apple Scooter was Awesome

I wanted to share our most recent experience with Apple Scooter with everyone.
My family are annual pass-holders at both parks. We live in So. CA. and travel every year the 1st week of December to DisneyWorld for a week of fun at the parks.
Our flight was delayed this year, due to the weather issues in TX, and we did not get to the resort until 12 Midnight. The scooter was waiting for us, fuly charged and ready to go. During our trip, one day I did not have the power cord with me and the scooter ran out of power. Guest services did not have a power cord, so I called Apple and within 20 minutes there was a rep bringing me two new batteries and swapped them out. This was at 9pm. If it wasn't for this help, I would have been stuck and not able to get the scooter back to the resort.
In addition to this great service, Apple gave me a discount on our bill as I was not used to the rates (the rates are higher in FL. than they are in CA.) being slightly higher in FL.
It just goes to show you that Apple is committed to providing excellent customer service, great pricing and helping families that have disabilities have a great Disney experience.

Sigh. Not another one.

Our neighbors just got back from WDW yesterday and used Apple on our recommendation. Apple IS directing customers to the DIS and asking them to leave positive feedback if they were happy with their service. I was skeptical of the other posts, too, until hearing it firsthand from someone I know. If the OP hadn't mentioned Texas, I would have wondered if it was from them.
 
Even IF all these posts are from real customers, I find them very annoying.

At the VERY least, they should chime in on an existing Apple thread.

Maybe set up a thread for scooter rental reviews or something, and load them all into one spot.

It's not reviews people are annoyed with, it's the method apple is using to get people to post. Offering discounts and then directing them here to post how great they. My guess is it's to combat the bad reviews apple received over the past few months.
We are looking to rent in september. I have decided who I won't be renting from.
 
My problem is these threads are being done by people that could care less they are one shot and gone. Reviews by members that have been here and are reviewing to help others are what we need,
These reviews are just here to help Apple and make me think Apple could care less about customer service
 
I thought a car service company got banned from being mentioned here for doing the same thing.
 
Yes, don't open them. Sure. and if you don't like to read our complaints about it, YOU should not open these threads either. We find this situation to be open to discussion. You clearly do not.

But this could be just the tip of the iceberg for posts like this, on this and other DISboard forums.

If this company is doing it, more will follow.

I just checked with my friend and they didn't receive any discount. Apple just asked that if they were happy with their service, would they please leave a favorable review. Sorry, but I don't see anything wrong with it. People could just as easily leave a bad review and some have. Plus, I'm sure many just do the one review and leave because they've already done their trip and see no reason to post on anything else. Not everyone is obsessed with Disney. (I don't know how they can NOT be but I've heard these people exist :rotfl2:) We've always had great service from Apple and so has everyone I know that's used them. If we aren't satisfied in the future, I'll be on here in a heartbeat saying why but until then I'm an unapologetic Apple loyalist.
