Apple pros: will this iPad problem fall under warranty

I got my IPad 2 when they came out in the spring and LOVE it. However, about 2 weeks ago it started restarting while in use several times throughout the day. I took it to the Apple store and he said the diagnostic tool they use found nothing but low storage (not low memory) which he corrected by shutting down apps I didn't know werestill open??? He suggested I restore, which I did. The problem decreased a little but is now back to doing it many times during the day. Any ideas? Do you think Apple will consider this something that might fall under the one year warranty? Thanks!

Or, y'know, try explaining the problem and that you've been there once, and nicely ask for a replacement.

Google the problem and ask on message boards first (actual apple message boards).

I am having an issue with my iMac and have found what may be the problem (I think it is a LION upgrade that may need to be downgraded until a fix is made via Apple for download.)

After 3 calls and 2 hours on Applecare phone calls and them not knowing what it was, I found it myself!

It may be something you can fix.

Thanks for the feedback. I finally got a chance to call Apple and they are replacing it. The gentleman from Apple said it was the strangest thing he's heard because there was no pattern to it and everything they would have suggested, I had tried. It would happen when I was working on my calendar but also with internet stuff. It just cut out when I tried to reply hear the few minutes ago. They were great, I nervous we had spent all that mo eh and would be told there was nothing they would do.
